Missed her ...

She stood there
Gently swaying
Dancing to the beat of her heart
I got caught watching
Couldn't tear my eyes apart
With a smile, she said hello
With a wink, she stole my heart
Captivated the very first moment 
By a beauty she couldn't hide
Joyful, playful, and coyly shy
Distracted from what I was doing
She had me completely mesmerized 
Felt myself drawn to her
Yet my steps were cut short
As she faded away from me
My feelings in full retort
